How to Get Started
1. Tell me about yourself
Complete the Learning Enquiry Form and select the option you’re interested in: 1:1 Lessons, À Conversa or the A1 Group Course.
2. I’ll review your enquiry
I’ll personally review your information and contact you about availability and the next steps for your chosen learning option.
3. Start learning
Depending on your chosen option, the next step may be a free Discovery Call, a level assessment or the group course enrolment process.
Submitting an enquiry is free and doesn’t guarantee a place or commit you to enrolling.
To create a calm, respectful, and organised learning environment, I kindly ask all students to read the following information before booking lessons.
Booking and Payment
All lessons and lesson packages are prepaid and must be booked in advance.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may still be charged.
Late arrivals
If a student is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the lesson may be considered cancelled. Lessons will still finish at the originally scheduled time.
Missed lessons
Lessons missed without notice are non-refundable.
Lesson Bundles
Lesson packages are valid for a limited period of time and should be used within the agreed timeframe.
Time zones
Students are responsible for checking their local timezone when booking lessons.
Please note that all lesson times are scheduled according to Portugal time (WET/WEST).
Technical issues
If technical difficulties occur on my side, the lesson will always be rescheduled.

This course is designed for beginners who want structure, support and plenty of opportunities to actually use European Portuguese.
What will you be able to do?
Throughout the course, we’ll gradually build the Portuguese you need for real everyday situations.
You’ll learn how to introduce yourself and talk about your life, ask and answer everyday questions, understand and use common expressions, talk about your routines and plans, handle simple interactions in Portugal, and understand more of the Portuguese you hear around you.
Along the way, we’ll build your vocabulary, grammar, listening and pronunciation.

Please note that this course is not an official or accredited language qualification and it cannot be used as proof of Portuguese language proficiency for AIMA purposes, such as applications where an officially recognised Portuguese-language certificate is required.
If you need an official certificate for immigration, permanent residency or another administrative purpose, please check the current requirements directly with AIMA before choosing a course or exam.

You can pay the full course fee of €495, or spread the cost:
€120 — enrolment payment to reserve your place €125 — 5 January €125 — 5 February €125 — 5 March
Your €120 enrolment payment reserves your place in the group.
The instalment option is simply a way to spread the cost of the full €495 course. It isn’t a monthly subscription or a cancel-anytime membership.
The course will run with a minimum of 4 students. If the minimum number isn’t reached, your enrolment payment will be refunded in full.

Support Beyond the Lesson
Language learning happens in everyday moments. Whether you’re ordering coffee, speaking with a neighbour, or trying to understand something you’ve heard, questions often arise between lessons.
Students may send occasional language-related questions via WhatsApp and can expect a response within 48 hours during business days.
A relaxed online conversation to discuss your goals, your level, and how I can support you in learning European Portuguese.
What is a discovery call?
This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we can get to know each other and discuss your Portuguese learning goals.
Whether you are moving to Portugal, preparing for an exam, improving your confidence, or simply starting from zero, the discovery call helps us understand what kind of support would suit you best.
It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn more about my teaching approach, and see whether we would be a good fit to work together.
Discovery calls are 30 minutes long.
